The BENTLY 1900/65A-00-01-03-01-01 is a universal device monitor designed to continuously monitor and protect devices used in a variety of applications and industries. The low cost of this monitor makes it ideal for general-purpose machines and processes that require continuous monitoring and protection. It offers four sensor inputs and four temperature inputs, and the software can configure each sensor input to support 2-wire and 3-wire accelerometers, speed sensors, or proximity sensors. Each temperature input supports type E, J, K, and T thermocouples as well as 2 – or 3-wire thermal resistors. In addition, the 1900/65A offers six relay outputs, four 4-20 mA recorder outputs, and a dedicated buffer output. Users can configure relay contacts to open or close in response to state changes in any channel or combination of channels, and to provide variable data from any channel on any logger output. There is also a Modbus gateway option that allows the monitor to provide static variables, status, event lists, time and date information directly to Modbus clients, including DCS, SCADA systems, PLC, or System 1 software. Users can create profiles via software on a laptop or PC and download the files to the monitor via a built-in Ethernet connection, defining the operation of the monitor and the Modbus gateway register map. The 1900/65A is capable of permanently storing configuration information in non-volatile memory and can upload this information to a PC for changes. The 1900/65A also supports an optional display/keyboard for viewing channel information or making minor configuration changes, allowing it to run as a standalone package. If desired, the user can install the display at a distance of up to 75 meters (250 feet) from the monitoring module. Regarding the sensor channel type, the 1900/65A includes acceleration or reciprocating acceleration, speed or reciprocating speed, radial vibration (axial vibration), thrust (axial displacement) and position/speed and other types, and users can choose the appropriate sensor channel type according to their needs. Each variable can be configured independently, including options such as peak or RMS value of the vibration variable, metric or imperial units, filter angular frequency, full scale range, and integration of acceleration and velocity.
