It is used in extreme weather, such as offshore oil RIGS (waterproof), and in mining applications (dustproof). Waterproof industrial hot spot characteristics make it provide safe, reliable and fast connection speeds. For SCADA automation, process control, and mobile workers, Wi-Fi infrastructure has RF transfer rates up to 300 Mbps. In addition, wireless fast roaming capabilities are supported to provide production assembly lines, material handling systems and underground mining applications.
